Greg and Jennifer take a trip to the Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the last remaining clinic providing legal and safe abortion services to the women of Mississippi.Chats with the director of the clinic, volunteers and anti-choice protesters in this special episode of SMITW.The first season of the US Whose Line is it Anyway is hosted by Drew Carey (this fact never changes). The two regulars are Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie. From crowd interactions to any given newspaper headline, each bit of stimulus serves as a way to take a mad flume ride through the sluices of Proops' brain. Loosely rendered it falls somewhere between idiot and asshole.: playing too hard with the puppy, if Carol Channing were president, German pick-up lines, least likely person to appear on a stamp, famous last words, if dogs could talk, least popular college courses, unlikely Olympic events, people who shouldn't rap.

All of the stars are listed in seating order, which for some reason I think is important.Immediately we’re brought back into Drew’s stilted controlling world, where “everything is made up, and the points don’t matter.” But this time something is different. And then it dawns on me: Greg Proops is missing, and in his seat is Brad Sherwood. In that same game Brad steals the show by naming his weatherman ‘Al Nino,’ a very funny pun, and Drew Carey rewards his improvisational prowess by declaring it a non-scoring round. (throws an imaginary, fake knife) DREW: Lucky I was wearing my knife proof vest. only hinted at its former in-house player Greg Proops' gift of gab, which is constantly on display in the weekly soliloquy he calls a "Proopscast." Armed with a lifetime of accumulated trivia, reckless tales of youthful adventure, exquisite diction, and an unflappable comic pomposity, Proops dissects both consequential and ridiculous news items while unburdening whatever is bothering him.In addition to being one of the mind-warpingly quick-draw improv comics on earth, Greg Proops is The Smartest Man In The World — or, at least, that’s an apt moniker for his lugubrious, salacious, verbacious weekly podcast.Tonight, Greg records his latest episode live on the Cinefamily stage, and then it’s time for in 35mm, the best way Greg knows how to celebrate summer. Keanu before The Matrix, Swayze when he strode the Earth like a Titan.Other titles I was juggling included ‘The Haze of Sherwood Forest’, ‘Yes and, No Brad’, and ‘The One Where They Play Weird Newscasters.’ From a purely artistic standpoint this episode of is worthy of all of these titles and more. They refuse to mention Greg’s whereabouts the entire half hour, yet like a dark, stormy cloud it hovers over the proceedings. Much like the pilot we begin with ‘The Dating Game’ and Brad is in the doomed bachelorette seat. The first bachelor played by Wayne Brady is silly and trivial. If he rebels against Drew’s cruelty he loses the game, so we are forced to watch Colin dry heave at the very sound of Brad’s voice while the audience encourages it. As if this wasn’t enough, Drew then gifts his ‘meaningless’ points to Colin. “100 points to Colin for finally telling the truth about Brad.” It’s as if it’s lifted straight from the freshmen hell that is Dazed and Confused. Brad makes up a song ON THE SPOT and Drew asks an audience member if she needs to borrow cotton for her ears. Drew Carey takes the stage with Ryan and proceeds to play a game called 90-second alphabet. It’s a terrifying message: absolute improv power corrupts absolutely. This episode certainly improves on the pilot, but the same issue remains.
